<Chopin Piano Concerto No.1>(OP.11) is one of Chopin’s early works. It wascompleted before Chopin left his motherland to Paris, France. Although Chopin is under20years old at the time, its technique and musical connotation are almost perfect andflawless. It is ranked as one of his masterpieces.This paper mainly deals with the Third Movement in <Chopin Piano ConcertoNo.1>, which consists of three chapters. Chapter One is the introduction. In order tohelp readers get better understanding of the emotion it contains, the author expoundsChopin’s life experience and what happened to him while he was composing it. A lessknown love story and what he experienced in Poland are treated in detail. Chapter Twois the analysis of musical morphology. Composing techniques including harmony andmusical form as well as technical means adopted in creation are analyzed respectively.It is supposed to help readers understand Chopin’s real “intent” more easily andprofoundly. In Chapter Three, the author puts forward several points for the players topay attention to while playing <Chopin Piano Concerto No.1> the Third Movement.
