The Research On Multi-linkage Mechanism Of Rescuing For Street Children

Street children pervasive are the social phenomenon all over the world for a long time. How to rescue the street children and make them return to the family has been extensive concerned by governments. Children are the future of our country, the hope of human, their healthy growth and development has a great influence on the fate of a country. Therefore, the world governments and international organizations are paying high attention on legitimate rights of street children and trying to construct a rational assistance system.Our government has done a lot such as announcing many regulations to promote the street children career, and many social forces also has supported the career at the same time. In this paper, there is a direct research on multi-linkage mechanism of Rescuing for Street Children in Changsha. In order to understand the basic situation of street Children systematically and comprehensively in our country currently, analysis the basic outlook of social assistance.Practice what we have taken for this part of the special groups, and seek ways further to address the social problems of China’s street children better by social assistance, I selected the Street Children Protection Center of Changsha as my social relief stations. I adopted social research methods of random and focused on the street children whose age is from4to16years old in the center. Then taking100samples as the basic object of investigation and study, through integrating the analysis methods of quantitative and qualitative, it is helpful to construct the basic framework of my paper. And from the100objects I selected15objects for detailed interviews to obtain detailed and first-hand information to study.The article first summarized the existing literature reviews in our country and abroad, and gives an evaluation. Then on the basis of it, this paper analyzes the system of rescuing for street children and the status quo of the rescuing; Summarized the historical evolution and development of street children in China rescue work, affirms the achievements since its founding, including the level of laws and regulations, institutional assistance level and non-governmental organizations the power of multi-joint efforts of the progress made. And last this paper indicates the lack of social forces’participating in it by analyze the attitude to street children in society. Then the causes of the problem of street children in China to do a preliminary study and summarized, including family reasons, schools and social causes.And through interviews with these street children, I generally understood their psychological states. The multi-linkage mechanism of Rescuing for Street Children in Changsha has been initially set up. So in this paper, I discover the problems and shortcomings in the relief work from the government, social organizations and families, and gave the appropriate, targeted and operability recommendations and countermeasures from these tree sides also. On this basis, this paper gives some reform suggestions to perfect the functions of government, speed up the construction of protection network and monitoring system.We have to make the best use of multi-linkage mechanism of Rescuing for Street Children in Changsha, make a better balance between the power of government and the society, and at the same time make full use of the families, in order to help the street children get back home.
