Studies Of The Holistic Governance

Government management has always been the concerning question to governments and the scholars. In western countries, as information, digit, and technology being widely used, a new way of managing government, that is the holistic governance, emerged in response to the information time. This way of managing government was promoted to tackle with questions likes fragmentation of government management and hollow government brought by the new public management. Holistic governance has become an important ideal to modern governments, and is also the academic frontiers to explore government reformation. Therefore, the research on it has profound theoretical and practical meaning. The thesis has made a systemic sort to the background of the origin and development of the holistic governance, and also has made generalization of its concept, content and the main characteristic of governments.
