Since teachers are the main participants of education teaching, the professionali-zation level of them is related to the height of the teaching effect directly, so teachers’ development becomes the core content of teachers’ professional reform in recent years. At the age of information, the professional quality and connotation of teachers have changed tremendously, the requirements of the teachers are improving continuously. But the traditional teacher professional development patterns can’t cater to the practical needs of the teachers in primary and secondary schools, there are the problems of the shorting training cycle, the lack of resources and high cost with the vague effects and so on. To cope with the above problems, this study introduces the concepts of the PDS mode(Professional Development School) and the system of service supporting in teachers’professional development and designs and developments a system of teacher’ professional development support service based on the mode of PDS to promote teachers’ professional development in primary and secondary schools.The study carries out research around the design and development of teachers’ professional developing support service system based on the PDS model from two aspects of the theoretical basis and the actual development. This thesis comes to the main conclusions as follows:through the comparative study to the teachers’ professional development platform, it finds out the insufficiency in the function and design of the platform at present; It discusses the working principle of PDS model and the connotation of teachers’ professional development, puts forward an idea to combine the mode of PDS with the teachers’ professional development and tries to introduce it into the system of teachers’ professional development support service.Through the results of comparative study and the analysis of the theory, the paper tries to build an overall functional construction of the system of teachers’ professional development support service based on the mode of PDS and applies the idea of system design into the practice of system development. With the using of PHP and MySQL, it has developed a system of teachers’ professional development support service based on the model of PDS in order to validate the feasibility of the design.This paper mainly consists of six chapters:The first chapter states the background, significance, contents and methods of research.The second chapter introduces foundation of the research and the theoretical basis and the relevant concepts. It analysis the shortcomings of the traditional teachers’ professional development platform and provides reference for the design and development of the system.The third chapter is the important content of the research, it mainly constructs the overall framework and the function framework of the system with the methods of systematic design based on the previous analysis and makes an analysis and design of each function modules in details.The fourth chapter is core content of the research, it carries out specific development work on the basis of design content of the last chapter including the identification of the main development environment, technology, development tools, the development of the main function modules and the realization of the core technology.The fifth chapter is the testing and analysis on the system according to the software testing principles.The sixth chapter sums up the achievement of the research and points out the existing shortcomings and defines our research directions in the later continuing study.
