Although former researchers didn’t give no attention to the research on the wash-back ofCollege entrance examination English writing test. This study aims to put forward the Englishwriting for senior high a step under the guidance of writing criteria with their wash-backeffect, which makes up the vacancy.Although the English wash-back research has been existing for more than100years,however, in our country, it sprang up only two decades ago or less, and has attractedresearchers’ attention rapidly. This thesis research includes two main parts, introduction andfive chapters in specific; The introduction part of the research includes the researchbackground, the research purpose and its significance, and detailed description of the mainthought and method of study in the form of chart.The first chapter is to state the literatures, including domestic and foreign history on theresearch of wash-back and its current situation, through which we can simply understand theimplication of wash-back; it is hereby quite necessary make a brief introduction to varies oftesting theories, on which the wash-back is based; This study also involves Shandonguniversity entrance exam English writing criteria.The second chapter is on the study of wash-back problem. It illustrates the existence ofthe wash-back effect of writing criteria from two aspects: both the teachers’ and students’.And then the comes the discussion of scoring attitude for the College Entrance examinationEnglish writing principles.The third chapter is the core of the study, which is accomplished through on-the-spotinvestigation and research. In order to complete the research subject successfully, this articlebased on a full investigation of classmates and teachers in Shang dong Province, gets thebasic information and through the SPSS, collects, combs, analysis before we get therelationship between the scoring criteria and the senior English writing.The fourth chapter is the discussion of the last chapter, and the optimizing of wash-backon senior English writing teaching. It describes in detail the way of making best of thewash-back from various perspectives. Chapter5is the end of this paper, summarizing the writing criteria and gives suggestionson senior English writing teaching. And hope that it will definitely function in Englishteaching.
