Student Community Organization Image Research Beijing Sport University

The research has found the common ground and the limitations in the aspects of public organizations by reading quantities of documents and materials, deeply commanding the current research situation of student societies in colleges, images of organizations and so on. Through the analysis and research of the current development of student societies in Beijing Sport University, the author has clearly gotten the hang of the comprehensive knowledge about student societies, including the history of development, ways of activities, the organization and management, types, features and its functions, and found out the problems that exist in today’s student societies. The main problems include:The defective managerial system and operating mechanism, The seriously constrained funds and place for activities, The disparity between the societies’leaders, The low loyalty of societies’members, The loss of students’participation, The unawareness of societies’brand building, Lack of the strategic plan for its long-term development.Through the research about values, behavior norms, team spirit, management mode and the social influence of the student societies in Beijing Sport University, the lack of consciousness of societies’brand building and strategic perspectives of the long-term development, the disparity between the societies’leaders, and the condition of public relations in the contradictions of high reputation and low popularity are the current situation of the images projected by the student societies.The author has made the corresponding conclusion by doing the research on the societies’images and the current situation of the students in Beijing Sport University. Besides, the author has also found out the root of the problem by analyzing the fundamental causes, hoping to provide some constructive instructions to the various departments. Combined with the correlative theory of organization images in public relations science, the author also hope to provide some practical suggestions for the future development of student societies, and some feasible solutions towards the actual management, operation and the popularization of the student societies.
