This paper summarizes research on four athletes (two males and two females) in20kilometers race walk from both the domestic group and foreign group in National walking team and the paper employs many research methods, such as Literature data method, Observation method, Interview method, Statistical analysis method, and Comparative analysis method. Load statistical unit is based on the practice units of different training means and training intensity depends on the ratio of actual results in practice over the best results within one year. This paper employs sports training basic theories and does thorough analysis on the actual finished training load data of those four athletes during the preparation for2011IAAF Race Walking Challenge (Taichang). Through the analysis and research to explore the characteristics of those four athletes’ training load, and find out both the common features and the differences of the group members from the domestic and foreign groups. Hopefully from the research the coaches in China can learn the essential part of the foreign training, combine it with the existing training, improve Chinese Race Walking Athletes’ achievement and at the same time to establish database for Chinese race walking trainingThrough the Statistical and Comparative analysis, Ⅰ come to the following conclusions:1. Four athletes of the domestic coach group and the foreign coach group made personal best results in Taicang and three of them have the qualification of the world athletics championships. It seems that the arrangement about the structure of the whole training load in this phase is advisable.2. The trend of The whole load in two groups of athletes is large、medium、 smallo in comparison of it, the load strength presents small、medium、 largeo Considering the overall load structure, the percentages of below80%target strength,80%-90%target strength,90%-100%target strength and above100%target strength in the training are different. And both groups played more attention on80%-90%target strength and seldom did training on above100%target strength/3. Both domestic group and foreign group adopted general endurance training, specific endurance training, speed, strength and skill training, However, Besides using Uniform velocity walking, uniformly accelerated velocity walking which are also adopted by domestic group, foreign group conducted plenty of variable speed walking. This is the biggest difference between domestic group and foreign group.4. The training, arrange the maximum load strength weeks at the middle of training but the arrangement of the4athletes have different. About the load Wang Zhen Chen Ding Gao Ni shows the "two-stage" structures. But Liu Hong has only an important lesson. The other lesson is arranged. As to the load strength lesson of Chen Ding and Gao Ni is arranged in morning and afternoon by turns then Wang Zhen and Liu Hong is arranged in morning and afternoon continuously.5. Both domestic and foreign group employed cycle training method in physical training of athletes. Domestic group arranged fixed training time with three times per week and the training method was complex. While the training time of foreign group was also flexible with no fixed time, and the physical trainings were always arranged after focused training and training methods were more complicated.
