| Orienteering, a sport with physical and intellectual, is also a good quality education programs and therefore was vigorously promoted in education system。 The development of orienteering is often based on competition which as a mean to promote student competition to develop the entire movement。“Learnjoy Cup” Student Orienteering League Match, which is sponsored by Popularization and Developing Committee of OAC (Orienteering Association of China), is the early application of commercial operation of the provincial student orienteering league match。 It leads china orienteering both in scale, profession and organizing time。 This dissertation is designed to base on the systematic study on the status and influencing factors of the event so that it can provide directional reference to organizers of the league, and thus competition can be a lever to better promote the development of China orienteering。Drawing on systematic theory and elements of sports events based on the theory, this paper carried out with the current league situation, and it is mainly based on event properties, participating groups, material conditions, organizations, managements, marketing condit ions。 This paper applies methods of logistics, questionnaires and interview method, to research the operation of the league status and influencing factors。 Following are conclusions:1. The league match i s amateur, but has a high scientific and professional level。2. More male students participating the league match than female, the numbers of students from each school section are arranged from low to high by the order from primary to secondary students。 Participating purposes of students are different, the top three ones are exercise, recreation and hobbies。 Most coaches are male teachers under the age of40, who has been teaching for a short time, lacks teaching and training experience, but has the influent experience of leading matches。 Participants have a higher recognition to ref|e tration than assisted referees。3. Game equipment, orienteering maps has a higher satisfaction。 Lacking of alternative sites is greatly restricting the development of the league matches and there is a crucial problem of the design of the game line。4. League matches integrate social resources effectively to run games flexibly, realizing the situation under the leadership of the two Association sand operating modes of the contractors responsible for social assistances, individual participations, and combining comprehensive market regulations。 Participants of the contest and group settings, competition entry are more satisfactory, the competition systems are needed to be improved, and results announced in lower satisfaction。5. Sponsorship funding of organizing source are company sponsorship, community sponsorship and entry fees three channels, the contractor is the main source of all sponsorship。 Most participants believe that the entry fees are reasonable。 Development of intangible assets are still in its infancy。 Promotions are including online medias, site promotions, public relations and promotions etc。 League information release sites in the participating students are in poor publicity and attention is low。6. Security should be strengthened, strict environmental protection need to work properly, but it is important to pay attention to environment friendly from orienteering event publicity。7.
