In this paper, experimental method, field observation, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics methods such as the use TGMD-2scale,40students of the mental retardation of the lower grades of the Beijing Haidian District, Pei-Chi Centre School before and after the test, carried out period of four months of targeted intervention for learning motor skills, such targeted intervention on low-grade mental retardation students learning gross motor skills have a positive impact and to compare different grades, different categories of barriers to a student The size of the impact. And after the experimental intervention parents and teacher of students of mental retardation conducted a questionnaire survey to investigate the impact of this intervention on other aspects of mental retardation students. This paper aims to study the low-grade mental retardation students learn gross motor skills, to provide some reference for the design of the mentally retarded low-grade physical education teaching, the effect of physical education teaching process control and evaluation.The following conclusions:1) low-grade mental retardation students through a four-month gross motor skill learning, motor skills of the six test action has significant sexual advances.2) stop training after two months, the score of the six test action of low-grade mental retardation students have a significant decrease, but still slightly higher than the initial score.3)"run" action, the progress of students with cerebral palsy is more significant. The action of the standing long jump, Down syndrome, the progress of students is more significant. Before sliding, place Bounce the ball, play, started pitching four movements, Down Syndrome student’s progress, the progress of students with cerebral palsy smaller. 4)"before sliding" action, second-year student’s progress is more significant."Run" action, first grade student’s progress. Standing long jump, standing Bounce the ball, kick started pitching four movements, second grade student’s progress, a third grade student’s progress is small.5) Parents and head teachers agreed that the subjects learn gross motor skills after a period of three months, and obey the instruction skills and understanding to enhance the most obvious.6) used in this study targeted intervention for learning motor skills learning and other aspects of students’motor skills of low-grade mental retardation have a better role, is more effective teaching methods.
