In21stcentury, China is in its key period to realize the strategy of prospering the nationwith science and education, strengthening the country on talents and striving to achieve morevictories in construction of socialism modernization. Vocational education shoulders theimportant historical mission of educating millions of well-qualified workers and specialists. Inrecent years, China vocational education advances rapidly. The construction of vocationaleducation teachers also gets great achievements. Basically it has formed its stable andprofessional teachers, the overall quality in teachers gets an explosive development. But thetraining models, training quality and scale haven’t met the need of vocational education.Vigorously strengthening the construction of vocational education teachers is an inevitablechoice of changing the situation of vocational education teachers and boosting thedevelopment of vocational education.This essay, directed by economy, management, and educational theories, widelycollected and analyzed the former research results, absorbed some theories and methods fromthem. Besides, Starting with both foreign and domestic research state, through completelyreviewing, analyzing and studying the history of China vocational education construction, theessay analyzed the facing challenges and opportunities, summed up the experiences, proposedthe related methods to suit China vocational education and a detailed description of currentsituation of vocational teachers in our country and pointed out the eight problems inconstruction progress of our vocational education, emphasized current vocational educationmodels, operation ways and revelation to us in developed countries of Germany, Australia,England. It analyzed and compared five representative educational models and five trainingmodels in China, proposed the suitable orientation of China, put forward the different trainingmodels adaptive to the training base and objects. Finally it proposed7suggestions to enhancevocational education, including personal supplement system, enhancing the attractivenessmeasure, developing training system, innovative training models, increasing the devotion,arousing the enthusiasm of enterprises and boosting scientific research, etc.
