As the most popular sport all over the world, football has a great influence and potentialdevelopment, while in China the game is not so well-liked by common people. It marked thefailure of the Chinese mode of football development in the past ten years since the ChineseSoccer Olympic Team faded out of the Beijing Olympic Games in2008. Under thisbackground, we would like to ask what we can do, which leads to an urgent problem of howto develop our football game.Even though the professionalization of football has been many years in China, suchphenomenon as false ball and dark sentry post happen so often that Chinese football isregarded as the synonym of ugly social phenomenon and Chinese people are losing their faithand interests. Meanwhile, the domestic football market is sluggish, and fewer and fewerparents would like to encourage their children to play football, which makes the sport lesspopular among young people.Shandong is a better province in football developing, having two clubs of the ChineseFootball Association Super League (CSL), Shandong Luneng Taishan Football Club (LNTS)and Qingdao Jonoon Football Club, among which the former club is much more famous forbeing the Double Winners in1999, gaining champions of both the National Football Jia ALeague (predecessor of CSL) and FA Cup, and keeping the top4ever since the beginning ofCSL. One thing to be mentioned is that Shandong Luneng Taishan Football School has trainedlarge quantities of talents to Shandong Luneng Taishan Football Club and even the NationalFootball Team of China. For example, the Shandong Provincial team (1956-1994),predecessor of LNTS, won champion of the football game during the Fourth National Gamesof PRC in1979, because of which talented football players such as Yin Tiesheng and Li Yusenbecame members of National Football Team. LNTS and its predecessors, Shandong TaishanF.C (1993-94), Shandong Jinan Taishan General FC (1995-97) and Shandong Taishan GeneralFC (1997-1998), has been one of the best teams since the professional reform of Chinesefootball since1993, whose players as Su Maozhen, Li Xiaopeng, Shao Yanjie, and Liu Yue also joined the National Football Team. Qingdao Hainiu, predecessor of Qingdao JonoonFootball Club, was also a strong team, from which Qu Bo and Jiang Ning were chosen by theNational team.As we all know, the talent is the decisive factor of the future. Since the system of sportsschool and football school cannot make any progress in the process of Chinese footballdevelopment, it has become an important issue for us to find out that how to train the talentsand make them much more professional. The reform of football system has been carried outsince the storm of anti-crime crackdown in the field of Chinese football begun in recent years, while the select and training of young football players is the key during this procedure. The mode of Shandong football development is very typical for Shandong was the firstprovince that made the professional reform and the reserve talents here are so sufficient thatQingdao is called the Football City. Adopting three kinds of methods of questionnaire, expertinterview and literature data, this thesis carries on the research and analysis of current situationand countermeasures of Shandong Province.Through the research, the author analyzes the constraints of Shandong’s football reservetalents training and finds out the proper countermeasures in order to provide a reference for thefuture development of Shandong football. This thesis analyzes current situation and countermeasures of Shandong’s footballreserve talents training. The whole paper involves two parts: first, investigation of currentsituation, mainly the development of Shandong’s football reserve talents as long as the typicalprovinces whose football club is very prominent; second, countermeasures of the footballreserve talents training.
