Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is one of the multiple intelligences proposed by Gardner. It’s an abilty to control human body movement, to operate object, use the body movements to express feelings and solve problems. Initially, we gain knowledge and experience about the world in the way of body movement, to some extent, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is the foundation of human cognition and a basic skill of living and learning. Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence has a promotive function in high school students’learning. Studies have shown that37%of the students are kinesthetic learners, who tend to experience the learning content through body participation to get a better understand and memory in the study process. Also, the body movement promotes the development of the students’ thinking. Activities theorists emphasized the close relationship between nonverbal activities experience and abstract symbol thinking, which has an important significance on the development of the students’ thinking. In addition, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence also affects the development of several other intelligences. Some researchers think, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is the core intelligence to know the world. They applied the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence theory to practical teaching, in the process, students not only had a deeper understanding and memory of the knowledge, but also developed their Intrapersonal intelligence and Language intelligence. This shows the importance of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence to student’s learning and development. So, to know their bodily-kinesthetic intelligence is necessary and vital.Through a lot of literature researches, we found that the main current bodily-kinesthetic intelligence assessment methods are questionnaire and real situation assessment. These evaluation methods have their own advantages, but there are also some problems with them. The most important problem is that most of the testing questions emphasize too much on the preference, interest, or self-described of the objects,but not the capability, and evaluation implementation is time-consuming, not suitable for large scale test. So, the key steps of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence assessment is to design rational and targeted evaluation scale and give accurate and scientific evaluation results. To resolve these problems, this article takes Professor Gardner’s "intelligence contextualized" theory as a guide and Dr. Zhang Guoxiang’s15items of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence as a base, to analyse the meaning of these items in detail. We redesigned the items, and changed the existing bodily-kinesthetic intelligence test form (questionnaire) to a computer scenario-based form by multimedia technology. Some tasks which show one of the "inferior intelligence" of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence were designed in a certain situation in each assessment item. The testees were asked to finish these tasks to estimate their ability of solving problem.In order to guarantee applicability of the bodily-kinesthetic intelligence computer scenario-based items, the author chose representative testers from middle schools in Nanjing to make pre-tests and use SPSS software to analyze evaluation results. We calculated the difficulty and discrimination of each item and the reliability and validity of the test. The test results show that:the items have stable reliability, good validity, and it is suitable as middle school students’bodily-kinesthetic intelligence test tool.The netwok assessment system established used Browser/Server structure. So, all the students need is a computer that can get online to have test, which make it convenient for a large scale test. The system’s operation interfaces are clear and beautiful and easy to operate and maintain. During the test, the evaluation data are collected, analysed and processed by computer, which greatly reduces the manpower and material resources and makes the results more accurate.
