Inquiry teaching can effectively create learning environment for students to acquireknowledge, to show vivid visual learning environment, providing a wealth ofperceptual knowledge, stimulate student interest in leanring so that students motivatedto learn in practice the physical, to promote knowledge of the construction, relocation.High school physics curriculum standards based on the understanding of therequirements and the beginning of the current status quo of high school physicsteaehing, based on constructivism, multiple intelligences theory, learning theory andhuman features of physics, the practicality analysis of inquiry teaching is made forcurrent physics course teaching situation.Inquiry teaching stresses the process of students, obtaining knowledge which allowsstudents to change into active learners instead of passive learners. It is the basic andscientific teaching approach that will help students to get and deal with differentknowledge. As for its aim, it is not only for testing scientific theory and developingexperimental skills but also for enabling students to form inquiry ability whileleanring.Wirter tries to carry out the s"tudy of inquiry teaehing. hoping to increase studentsinterest, and develop students’ awareness and ability of taking inquiry learning, and inthe end to improve their performance.The study is eanred out by means of experiment,strictly collecting data, recording,designing the test of interest level, with the tool ofstudents’ score. It focuses on the difference between the inquiry teaehing andtraditional teaehing in physics education.
