This paper based on the theoretical research, used of the data survey method,interview method, and questionnaire method, through statistical analysis, fromevery these four types of school, emphasis high school, normal high school, technicalsecondary school and vocational high school cramped out one in Si-ping city, andfrom the freshmen random cramped out20male and female students, there are160students altogether, to do the research, combined with the interviews with someteachers, investigated the status of the proportion of male and female students insecondary schools and the development trend and so on. Based on the sociology,psychology, pedagogy, physiology and other related theories, combined with theresults of the survey research, analyzed the reasons for causing such a sex ratioimbalance. They are the subtle influence of the social environment on the long-termgrowth of young people; the psychological factor is the psychological mechanismscausing the differences of male and female students; and school education is the causeof the determinants of differences in young men and women students. Proposed fivestrategies for the secondary school gender imbalance. They are to change thetraditional mode of education, implement the gender gap education; strengthen thesecondary-school students’ adolescent sex education and mental health education;change the gender structure of the teachers; do a good job of teachers’ guiding work tostudents; play group advantages and integration the whole society on the training ofhuman resources.
