The concept of ego identity is the core concepts of identity theory about personality development. It gets through the past, present and future with consistency and continuity. A idea or concept about "Who I am" and how to define oneself. In China, the study of ego identity status has been relatively abundant, However, Identity style has just started, It doesn’t has a identity style measurement tool with high reliability and validity. Pro-social behavior is a kind of helping behaviors, altruism or wider range behaviors. Although there have been many studies on the ego identity status and pro-social behavior, aggressive behavior, identity styles and helping behavior, aggressive behavior research. But it has no study to investigate the identity styles how to impact pro-social behavior. On the other hand, there is no research to explore the relationship among Identity style, identity status and pro-social behavior.Based on the above problems, the study translates and revises Identity Style Questionnaire at first. Next to explore the relationship between identity style and pro-social behavioral from internal and external levels of pro-social behavior. Finally, we discuss the relationship among identity style, identity status and pro-social behavior. It provides a theoretical and empirical basis for the relationship between ego identity and pro-social behavior. The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1) In general, the largest number of information-style (42.82%), followed by diffusion/avoid style (38.03%), the smallest of the normative style (19.15%)(2) There are significant differences in grade, gender distribution. There was no significant difference in origin of student.(3) The different identity style individuals will exhibit different pro-social behaviors. Information-style individual scored higher on the altruistic pro-social behavior and anonymous pro-social behavior. The individual of normative style scored higher on the complaint pro-social behavior. The individual of diffusion/avoidance style score higher on the public pro-social behavior. Identity style development is more mature, the higher the score on the pro-social behavior.(4)The four identity status explicit significant differences on pro-social behaviors. This is not only to verify the conclusions of Padilla-Walker’s study, but also found that the identity achievement individuals higher score on the anonymous pro-social behavior and dire pro-social behavior. Identity achievement individuals development is more mature, the higher the score on the pro-social behavior.(5) Identity Style plays an intermediary role between identity status and pro-social behaviors.(6) Explicit pro-social and implicit pro-social are independent structure. Implicit Association Test can be an effective measurement of implicit pro-social behavior.(7) Different identity style individual has different level of implicit pro-social behavior. Information style individual has higher level of implicit pro-social behavior, normative style and diffusion/avoidance style individual has lower level of implicit pro-social behavior. The implicit pro-social behavior levels of Information style individual were significantly different from diffusion/avoidance style individual.(8) Different identity status individual has different level of implicit pro-social behavior. Identity achievement individual and identity moratorium individual have higher level of implicit pro-social behavior, Identity foreclosure individual and identity diffusion individual have higher level of implicit pro-social behavior.
