Xi’an city as a hub and exchange center of northwest fiveprovinces economic, culture, has the important influence on the social development,education, economic aspects. So it has important practical significance in Xi’an cityprimary school through the development of table tennis.With methods such as documentation, experts interviews, questionnaires,on-the-spot investigation, logical analysis, Xi’an city primary school table tennisdevelopment status and influence factors as the object of study,390students and52teachers of26primary schools which are spread in nine districts and four counties ofXi’an as the investigation object, the primary school of Xi’an city conducted a samplesurvey, the questionnaire as the main methods of investigation, investigation andResearch on the primary school table tennis ball movement in Xi’an city to carry outthe situation, and summed up the Xi’an city primary school table tennis developmentproblems and main influencing factors.The development of primary school class in table tennis is better than the ruralprimary school, through26primary school investigation of Xi’an City nine districtfour county towns. Most of the Xi’an city primary school table tennis are outside, andthe number is also very limited. The school table tennis equipment is also very old,the quantity can not meet the needs of students in class. The pupils of Xi’an City toparticipate in extra-curricular tennis activity are mainly in the form of interest classesand large class-break setting-up exercise. and meanwhile are rarely participate in highlevel. Main factors affecting primary school table tennis development have thelearning motivation of students, venues and facilities, the influence of the traditionalschool project, the school leadership attention and financial support, the nationaleducation system and curriculum management system, the level of economicdevelopment, development of the hidden curriculum resources and so on. Suggestionscombined with the actual situation of the school, teachers through the integration and innovation of table tennis teaching resources, increase the development ofschool-based curriculum, the realization of social school resource sharing. The schoolregularly should organize table tennis activities, the government and the schoolpublicity influence and the fitness value of table tennis culture. According to theinfluence of many factors, will make it have a balanced and healthy development.
