It can be have been contending from the results of all previous Asian BasketballConfederation Championships that the arrangement of Asian men’s basketball hasundergone tremendous changes in the point of view of historical development.1. The first phase, from1960s to the mid of1970s: the characteristic of thisperiod is that Southeast Asia, with a slight advantage, competed with East Asia whileWest Asia had not yet awakened.2. The second phase, from the late1970s to the late1990s: Chinese Basketballwas back to Asia with a powerful strength, West Asia awaked and Southeast Asiadeclined.3. The third phase, from the late1990s until now: East and West Asia contend forhegemony in Asian basketball circles during this period. The appearance of naturalised players is beneficial to the distribution of sportsresources on a global scale. due to the imbalanced development of basketball indifferent regions, races and environment, some excellent players have to confront withstiff domestic competition and may not be able to represent their native country.consequently, some of them choose to immigrate to other countries and played for theirhost countries. The phenomenon of naturalisation enables these players’ personal valueto be realised economically, politically and psychologically. The participation of naturalised players enhance the competitive edge of theadopted countries. after analysing naturalised players’ and local players’ statistics andgame videos of the26th Asian basketball championship, it can be concluded thatnaturalised players generally outperform local players and are the focus of the tacticallayout of both teams. Their engagement impost decisive influence on the outcome ofmatches. The FIBA should executes relevant rules to regulate the development of the"naturalize" worldwide. We have to define “naturalized players" objectively andexamine players’ qualification critically, in order to expand players’ space todevelopment and ensure their healthy growth. According with sports spirit, we shouldnot entrap competitive sports into a situation dominated by money.Naturalisation,a tendency, influence the structure of Asian Man’s Basketball. Tocomplete all related provisions of the Asian Basketball confederation is a premise thatthe naturalisation can be benignly developed. Depending on a process of thedevelopment of human history, if the Asian Man’s Basketball want to raise thecompetitive level they must allow the naturalised players join in and compete with them. The Asian Man’s Basketball will arrive of the prosperous vision if for keeping an openmind and completing all related provisions.Asian basketball phenomenon of "naturalized player" in my opinion is not do moreharm than good. The introduction of country,"naturalized player " can make theintroduction of the Chinese basketball level get great-leap-forward development, isconducive to the expansion of the basketball movement influence, promote thedevelopment of mass sports. For countries without "naturalized player", strengthenexternal competitiveness will also enable these countries to enhance the competitivelevel from the inside. The Asian men’s basketball level in such a "struggle" the overallprocess must be improved significantly.Asian countries should focus on the use of “naturalized player”, or the players’abusing will lead the result of “haste makes waste”. Not only does the introduction of“naturalized player” depend on their outward manifestation, whether the “naturalizedplayer” can well coordinate with local players to improve the team’s overall strengthshould be thought. Nowadays the Asian basketball competition becomes increasinglyfierce, and the countries lacking of “naturalized player” must do efforts on consolidatingthe mass base of the basketball, improving the scientific training level, and promotingthe building of basketball league to get a place of the Asian basketball. At the present time in China, it is not possible to introduce of "naturalize player".The main resistance comes from the restriction of the law, lack of historical experience, unacceptable of psychological from people and special sports system.
