In order to increase the communication distance of the nRF24Z1(a wireless communication chip), a transmitting-receiving module was designed under the power of2.4GHz—2.482GHz. This article contains major sections as followed:(1) Selection methods of capacitors, inductors and substrate in RF circuits.(2) Analyzing some important concepts and methods of matching in amplifier design.(3) According to the overall index requirements, the schematic diagram of transmitting-receiving links was made and selection of device types was finished. A final amplifier with10W output power was made out with ADS software. A cavity was designed by adding to functions of overcurrent, overvoltage, power and temperature detection. At last a practical model was made and tests on transmitting and receiving of power module were conducted.According to tests, in the frequency range of2.4GHz—2.482GHz, the gain of transmitting link is45dB, third order intermodulation is below-28dBc (two-tone interval is1MHz, the output power is40dBm),Gain flatness is±0.3dB, the gain of receiving link is10dB, temperature detection, input and output power detection, overvoltage and overcurrent detection are normal.
