In recent years, with the emergence of crisis event, and the widespread effects that has caused in home and abroad, topics about government crisis management and media crisis communication had began to constantly come in the public eye. This article will select a crisis event of a class, the emergent events of public health as a starting point, and use "Yangtze Evening News" as a case, study the crisis communication of news media in response to emergent events of public health. In the case studies of Yangtze Evening News" reports on public health emergencies, select two representative cases, the "SARS" in2003and the " A/H1N1" in2009, the two epidemic situation of infectious diseases which had effected all the nation. This article is divided into six parts, first is the introduction, in this part, it will mainly introduces the research background, the reason and significance of topic selection, the overview of the literature and research methods; The second chapter mainly explains the concepts, include the related definitions and characteristics of public health emergency and crisis communication, and summarize the overall situation of public health emergencies reported by domestic media since the founding of our country; The third chapter will aimed at " Yangtze Evening News" reports on " SARS" and "A/HIN1", for a specific category of statistical analysis; The forth chapter is primarily based on the statistical data in chapter three, analysis the transmission characteristics of crisis communication of emergent events of public health in " Yangtze Evening News" reports, include the improvements and problems. The fifth chapter is aimed at the changing characteristics which had been summarized in the forth chapter, further analysis the deep-seated reason of these changing characteristic; The sixth chapter will proceed from the " Yangtze Evening News" to all the metropolis newspaper, to analysis the reconstruction of the concept of crisis communication of metropolis newspaper from a macro perspective.
