With the development of microelectronics technology, RF technology, and industrial process, wireless sensor network(WSN) grows. Due to its vast commercial value and development space, WSN has got more and more attention from both scholars and the social. The technology of nodes location play an very important role in WSN, because if the information doesn’t have the property of location, it doesn’t make sense.The page states the content of the nodes location technology, the technology can be divided into two parts. One is based on distance between nodes, the other is contrary. We focus on the first one here. As the same time, The page develops the novel intelligent search algorithm---Fire fly Algorithm(FA) and Bat Algorithm(BA). As for FA, we develop it in two points. The one is that one parameter is becoming smaller with iteration. The other is that we put the worst state virtual fireflies around the best. The two ways develop the performance of standard FA. As for BA,the paper gives one new search strategy,that is,once we find the program get convergence,expand the search field around the best until convergence happen again. The developed BA modifies the fault of the rapid convergence and the limit global search ability. After that, we apply these two algorithm into the nodes location. The simulations show that the nodes location algorithm have good accuracy.
