With the increased levels of network technology, a large number of heterogeneous information widespread and subjoin the accesses to information channels. At the same time, more professional, intelligent, systematic knowledge of the subject is needed for the personnels who work and research in college.Library as a information gathering place of college culture become their assistant.. As long as the introduction of the subject librarian, the access to information is becoming more convenient and fast for the teaching and research activity in college. However, the construction of subject librarian system in china starts relatively late, many libraries’ management system is imperfect and their services are too simple.In response to the fact, many college libraries begin to introduce the concept of knowledge management in subject services with the times, and carried out subject service of based on knowledge management.Which can efficiently provide a variety of teaching and research information resources to meet the researchers’need.This paper contains six parts:Introductory part of this paper briefly describes background and significance of the research,research status at home and abroad,research methods and content as well as major innovations.Second part conducts a brief analysis of knowledge management concepts and subject related services, which also describes the library knowledge management, library knowledge services,subject librarians and library to carry out the concept of the importance of knowledge management, as below discusses the important groundwork done. In the third part, first,the author discusses the knowledge management and subject service point of contact from two ways, then analyzes subject librarians to carry out discipline-based knowledge management services should have the skills and discipline service platform construction and the implementation approach, this part is a key part of this thesis.Fourth part analyzes the domestic and foreign typical cases about subject service of based on knowledge management,which provide reference for China.Fifth part,the author innovative proposes development countermeasures of carried out subject service of based on knowledge management. In the article’s conclusion part,points out achievements in Chinese universities about research of carried out subject service of based on knowledge management.which also proposes the inadequacies of this paper.
