Today’s world, environmental pollution, climate warming and increasing scarcity ofenergy and other issues has become a major threat to human survival and development.Low-carbon economy, rapidly becoming an emerging concept, the developed countries haveincluded strategic planning, and has achieved more significant results. Developed countriesby virtue of the advantages of all levels of talent, technology, capital, citizens’ awareness of,and management mode, leading the new trend of global low carbon economy.As a developing country, China is currently in a period of rapid development ofurbanization, industrialization process, the consumption structure of residents in thedevelopment of changes, this period is just the stage, and the rapid growth of energy demandor consumption of fossil fuels into the high growth period. Therefore, the study must beChina’s high-speed sustained process of economic development, the ability to learn fromdeveloped countries have experienced the "first development, governance lessons, look forone either to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while promoting sustainable the road of thedevelopment of low-carbon economy.The China low-carbon economy is divided into four parts: The first part describes thebackground of China’s low carbon economy, the status quo and meaning; The second partanalyzes the outstanding problems facing the development of China’s development oflow-carbon economy; the third part analyzes the main experience to learn from developedcountries, low-carbon economic development; the fourth section presents suggestions topromote low-carbon economic development in China.
