Xiangshan uranium field is located in the junction of Jiangxi Lean and Chongren.In thewestern end of Ganhang volcanic uranium metallogenic belt.It is found in China’s largestvolcanic rocks uranium field.,Also is one of China’s major uranium resource base.Decades,many experts and scholars have never stopped research in Xiangshan Basin. They have Morein-depth understanding of formation and evolution of the basin,structuralcharacteristics,uranium mineralization geological conditions and so on. Large, medium andsmall uranium deposits of more than20have been found in the basin area. The uraniumdeposits prolific within the spatial extent of more than350m underground. In order to furtherexplore the potential to expand the scope of prospecting, deep prospecting has become animportant task for the future of the area. In the face of today’s lack of means of deepprospecting, prospecting ineffective situation, how to play the comprehensive geophysicalexploration looking for deep or concealed uranium is an effective way to change the plight ofprospecting for uranium deposits.Paper the Xiangshan Basin sandbar uranium deposits as the research object, select themine a known exploration profile, to carry out a fine probe to soil radon of210Po measuringand precision magnetic survey and high-power induced polarization sounding geophysicalmethods, whilethe mine and its peripheral range of7000m21:5000scale soil radon the210Podetailed investigation work.In known of exploration sectional geophysical information extraction, combined with theknown geological and uranium mineralization conditions, the comparative analysis of thegeophysical information with the formation (or rock), the correlation between the structureand uranium mineralization, the results show:bimodal form of the radon concentration in thesoil, the main peak is located above the buried shallow uranium ore body, while the secondpeak is often more closely related to deep or concealed uranium ore body; soil210Po activitybroad background field appearsthe great single peak corresponding to the position ofunderground uranium ore body; the magnetic anomaly lithology interface better response,jagged secondary peak of concealed uranium some guidance in finding the deep and;high-power induced polarization sounding apparent resistivityand apparent polarizationanomalies, low resistance and high polarization corresponds to the favorable position of theuranium mineralization, the male low resistance high polarization and deep buried there aresome linkages between the uranium ore body;.210Po activitywith radon anomalies in lots ofuranium mineralization were observed, due to the210Po activity in the soil is a long process of accumulation, lower surface mineralization and therefore able to better reflect the deepuranium migration law. Based on the geophysical information with uranium mineralization,deep in the area or concealed uranium geophysical prospecting logo.through the detailed investigation of Radon and210Po in Shazhou uranium mine and itsperipheral (7000m2area),combined with the known exploration profiles geophysical preciseand accurate information, and delineated four uranium prospects in favorable locations oruranium mineralization in the area, for finding a deep or concealed uranium ore body to thetarget.
