Information technology has been widely used in people’s life and scientificresearch, but the existing optical instrument can not meet people’s needs, peoplestudied the content became more subtle, in order to be more precise, convenientto carry out scientific experiments and the practical application, people deliversthe view to achieve nanometer nano photonics. Surface plasmon nanophotonics isone important branch of it, in switching equipment, biological sensor, chemicalmeasurement, even the medical field has the very broad application space. Inorder to make the surface plasmon corresponding technology to obtain a morewidespread application, this paper studied metal dielectric composite filmstructure on the surface plasmon resonance, and further analysis of the film ’sanisotropy on excitation of surface plasma wave effect. This paper first separately on TE wave and TM wave on surface plasmonexcitation condition undertakes an analysis, discussed the TE wave and TM wavepropagation in composite film surface. The establishment of a metal dielectricnanostructures composite film, based on the model, the effective mediumapproximation theory analysis of the composite dielectric tensor, and the incidentlight to the TE component and TM component of composite film reflectivity wereanalyzed, discuss TE and TM waves on surface plasma resonance excitation.Further analysis of metal filling rate on the thin film properties, and analysis ofcomposite film internal field intensity distribution, given the metal filling rateand three in the composite film with glass or air boundary face of SPP excitationmode. Discusses the TE waves on surface plasmon excitation.Establishment of an anisotropic layer layer thicker than passing similardevice model, derivation of this complex anisotropic thin films dielectric tensorand TE wave and TM wave reflectivity. Analysis of TE wave and TM wavereflectivity map, proof of anisotropic thin film and metal interface between TEand TM waves from the excitation of surface plasma waves. Through quantitativeanalysis, found that when the incident wavelength and incident angle for a specialvalue, anisotropic layers in the TE and TM mode can stimulate surface plasmawave, detailed analysis of the TE wave and TM wave in film and media at theboundaries of the SPP excitation mode. Analysis of anisotropic thin filmthickness on the surface plasmon excitation effect.
