The oil deposit in Guntun area of Guan Guyi oil field is lithologically. The area is now still undelevoped, and the intensive exploration and development of this area is influenced by the problems such as indistinct geological features, weakly research of sedimentary facies and the unknown relationship between oil and water. This thesis mainly focused on the problems in this area. And the detailed study was practiced by using the model reservoir description method and guided with the stratigraphy, sedimentary geology and well log geology. The researches are mainly including:(1) By using isochronous stratigraphic corration, the principle of the objective formations in plant and cross section was identified:the areal structural configuration is a western-monocline with angular less than2°, and the allocation of the sandy and mudy formation is thick sandy bodies with silty mudstone interbedding.(2) The structural features of areal and the superface of sublayer sandbodies were determined:the low amplitude nose structures are locally in the Chang6Formation in the studied area and the superface structure of sandbodies are relatively sample.(3) The sedimentary studies are processed by investigation of sedimentary background and sedimentary environment using methods of core observation, well-log facies recognition and etc. The result suggested that the sedimentary feature is typically fluvial deltic.(4) The operated heterogenous studies suggested that the Chang6Formation of Guntun area is relatively strong heterogenous and mainly influenced by the microfacies. The studies on the reservoir spreading of Chang6Formation showed that the difference of vertical distribution of sandstone is significantly, while the lateral spreading is NE-SW or NNE-SSW trending.
