In Maling area of Erdos-basin, the topography is covered by huge thickness loess, and the near surface structure changing undulate, so there are multiple noise waves in the production data and the static work is hard to be processed which restrict the effect of seismic data in the oil exploration. The cross-line geometry is the newest technical method which can avoid the near shot points noise wave and acquire the high S/N seismic data. For the processing of seismic cross-line data in Maling area, the static work is the most different and important.The static work in huge thickness loess area is a system project, and it is valuable both in theory and actual production. The seismic data, kinds of static methods and software will be thorough researched and discussed in this report, and the content including:(1) The near surface and subsurface seismic geologic conditions.(2) The analysis of seismic cross-line data and the detail description of data processing.(3) The static methods using the refraction wave including Gauss-Seide, spread interconvert, synthetize3D delay time, layer analysis static, wave territory expend technical method. The Gauss-Seidel, spread interconvert, synthetize3D delay time is used in the actual processing and resolve the static issues, and achieve good result.(4) There are a lot of software in production, just like ProMAX, FATHMODL of Green mountain company、 Geoeast, all of them having advantage and shortcoming.(5) At last, with the near surface and subsurface model and the acquisition seismic data, using the static software as description, comparing every static methods, finding out the best static method and software in complex loess mountain area.Combined with the forward model in the region and the actual seismic data recorded,using the above methods and several static correction software, did a detailed comparison, that in the region Gauss-Seidel iteration method is better than static correction algorithm for extended generalized exchange (EGRM), synthetic delay algorithm is better suited to the special geological study area, seismic environment. In software applications, ProMAX statics software best, can get a higher S/N ratio and high resolution of the stacked data, the imaging is better.
