Jiyuan oilfield, whose structural unit belongs to yishan slope, is located in the middle-west of Ordos basin. Its main oil-bearing formation are Triassic Yanchang formation and Jurassic Yanan formation. In the past few years, we have done more exploration and Evaluation and acquired significant progress in this area. The reservoir of chang8, displayed hundred million tonner’s oiliness occasion, which is the important area and horizon of exploration and development in changqing oilfield. Therefore, it is necessary to comprehensively and systematically carry chang8reservoir characteristics and geological model research, make the development policy that fit the chang8reservoir, settle foundation for the chang8reservoir’s efficient development. This study using CorelDRAW、Geomap、Forward、Petrel,etc, guided by the Sequence stratigraphy, sedimentary petrology, computer technology theory, and combined with core, logging, production data, DST, etc., through the comparison of the depositional cycles to do the fine stratigraphic and comparison. Crossborehole sand and facies distribution is by methods of logging sedimentary facies and core analysis. Main reservoirs of oil&gas accumulation are distributary channels sand which is the deposition of delta front. Logging interpretation model and reservoir parameters cut-off are built by studying four property relationships and we have done the second interpretation for175wells in this area. Through the research of physical characteristics, heterogeneity of reservoir, pressure sensitive experiment, start-up pressure gradient experiment and oil-water relative permeability, we give the evaluation for reservoir characteristics and seepage characteristic. Aimed at different geological characteristics, we choose proper method from multiple methods to built structure model, facies model and attribute model under control of facies. The3D geological modeling that we established supplys the reliable geologic foundation material to the research of oilfield development plan.
