To achieve the low-carbon living and meet the needs of sustainabledevelopment, more and more green, energy-saving and environmental protectionhybrid illumination systems with natural light and LED are used in architecturallighting. The optical system of hybrid illumination is researched based onnon-imaging optics in this paper. Three kinds of optical systems are designed andtheir concentration properties and lighting effects are simulited and analyized. Hereare the main contents:(1) A concentrator based on planar waveguide and curved linefocal Fresnel lensis researched and the theoretical model and solid model of which is established, thestructure is optimized via orthogonal test. The concentrating efficiency, theuniformity, the influence of the incident light declination angle and the influence ofmachining error of the optical systems is analyzed with Trace-pro. The installationstructure, the connection optics based on the output properties after concentrationand the optics for indoor natural lighting after the guidance of optical fiber aredesigned. The illumination effect after the guidandce is also simulated and analyized.(2) Based on SMS design method, the RXI concentrator is designed via thecreation of theoretical model and numerical solution, creation of solid model by3Dsoftware. The efficiency and the properties analysis of the concentrator, the influenceof the incident light declination angle and the efficiency after the guidance by fiberand light distribution are also simulated and analyzed.(3) Considering the low cost and easy processing technology, a concentratorbased on prism array was designed by the splicing of rectangular prisms. Theconcentrating efficiency, the uniformity and the influence of the incident lightdeclination angle, the splicing structure efficiency and the efficiency after the lightdistribution are also simulated and analyzed.(4) For the environment of10m~2sun room and20m~2office, the illuminationproposal for natural illumination, LED illumination and hybrid illumination wasdesign used the three optical system above. The proposal was simulated and analyzedvia DIAlux and can meet the illumination requirements of the state ‘building lighting design standard’.
