At the moment, Being a new gas mineral resources, Coalbed methane is being followed with more and more interest. Coalbed methane exploratory development is being in progress in many countries of six continents in the whole world. China is rich in coal and coalbed methane resources, it is the third country in coalbed methane resources, succeeds Russia and Canada. Degree of coalbed methane exploration is higher in Qinshui Basin in Shanxi than that in other Basins in China. There are many coalbed gas field such as Panzhuang、Fanzhuang and ZhengZhuang. The coalbed gas is absorbed in cleat split in coalbed. The reservoir in coalbed has low porosity and low permeability, and it is yielding. It is important in exploratory development to know the parameters of the reservoir such as structure and split and or degree of metamorphism. For example3#coal in Zhengzhuang in Qinshui Basin, On base of researching geophysical feature and reservoir parameters of coalbed methane by various datas such as3D seismic and drill core or logging ang testing, Predicting the thickness and distribution of coalbed by seismic attribution technique and seismic inversion technique; Predicting the split throughgoing by stess field numerical modeling and perstack nonisotropy analysising; Predicting rich domain of coalbed methane by frequency attenuation and amplitude ratio and AVO technique. The predicting effect is well, and these techniques are vital in《Research of evaluaterating technique on reservoir of coalbed methane by geophysical means》of《Research of gordian technique and demonstration project on Coalbed methane exploratory development》, and it is worthy of application and dissemination.
