The complicated structure and reservoir condition、weak basic geologicalstudy and poor reservoir producing degree make Weicheng Oilfield be ata low stable development phase. With the improvement of exploring,deep reservoir of Es4has become the main point. As the sand buries deepand has small size, it is necessary to make a breakthrough on relativelylow exploration degree. Considering the problems that exist in Wei81,applying advanced reservoir characterization technology to make finereservoir description and remaining oil distribution research to the block,guided by the theory of petroleum geology and modern reservoir geology.Applying3D seismic data and logging data, the comparison andclassification of the formation have been studied to re-check and supplythe previous. At the same time, adding up and combining the fault-pointsdata on welllogs, preliminary determining the horizon, and establishinghigh-resolution sequence stratigraphic framework. On the basis of above,making the fault position, shape and relationship of the area certain anddrawing structure maps of sand group tops and few representative profilemaps of structure to supply to the establishment of geological model.According to the results of sedimentary facies and related data,combining the structure model, establishing the facies model which under the control of truncated gaussian stochastic simulation technology; further,setting up the porosity and permeability models using the theory offacies-controlled modeling; verify the applicability of the geologicalmodel by matching the original geological reserves. On the basis of thereservoir geological model, make reservoir numerical simulation toanalysis the oil saturation of the block. Then according to the result ofsimulation, analysis and forecast the distribution rule of remaining oil anddescribe that quantitatively.
