The plant endophytic fungi not only has a high diversity, but is a big reservoir ofabundant second metabolites like the bioactive compounds which has the function ofantibacterial, antioxidant, antitumor and so on. Therefore, plant endophytic fungi hasbecome an important source of bioactive secondary metabolites. The strain Shiraia sp. Slf14, an endophytic fungi separated from Huperzia serrta, was used in this study. After the treatment of ethanol extraction and gradientextraction to dry thallus, we got three crude extracts: petroleum ether phase6.2g,ethyl acetate phase5.6g, water saturated normal butanol phase7.2g. A series ofchromatography methods were used to separate petroleum ether phase and ethylacetate phase, and we obtained15monomer compounds. Based on NMR, MS spectraanalysis methods, a total of nine compounds were identified: Eburicol(2),2,3-dihydroxypropyl9Z,12Z-octadecadienoate(3),(R)-2,3-Dihydroxypropylstearate(5),2,3-dihydroxypropyl hexadecanoate(6), Hypocrellins A(10-1),Hypocrellins B(10-2), Elsinochromes B(11), Elsinochromes C(13) and Linoleicacid(14). S1separated from petroleum ether phase get7compounds by GC-MS:1-methyl-2-Pyrrolidinone(16), Pentadecanoic acid thyl ester(17), Ethyl9-hexadecenoate(18), Hexadecanoic acid ethyl ester(19),9,12-Octadecadienoic acidethyl ester(20),(E)-9-Octadecenoic acid ethyl ester(21) and Octadecanoic acid ethylester(22). Tt was the first time to separate all above compounds from endophyticfungi Shiraia sp. Slf14.Compounds’ antibacterial and antioxidant activities were detected throughTLC-bioautography, broth dilution method and the ratio of scavenging DPPH. Theresults showed that2,3-dihydroxypropyl9Z,12Z-octadecadienoate(3), compound(4),(R)-2,3-Dihydroxypropyl stearate(5) and2,3-dihydroxypropyl hexadecanoate(6)had certain inhibitory effect to Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, while the compound(9) only had inhibitory effect to Escherichia coli; and compound(3),(9),and S1had different antioxidant activity.
