With the gradual deepening research of contemporary computer technology, theapplication of computer technology is more and more widely. Therefore, a newcomputer technology may promote the development of other areas for a large step. Forexample, large data computing problem in the field of meteorology, seismic explorationand bio-engineering can be solved by parallel computing technology. Another exampleis the technology of visualization. The emergence of visualization technology promotethe development of the natural sciences, engineering technology, financial industry,communications industry and commercial.Velocity is one of the most important parameters in the seismic data processing.Compared with the P-wave velocity analysis, converted wave velocity analysis can getricher information about the subsurface. But becouse of the asymmetry of the convertedwave’s ray path, converted wave velocity analysis is much more complicated than theP-wave, especially for prestack migration velocity analysis and stack velocity analysis.Becouse the calculation is numerous and complicated, the interactive analysis of twoabove processes is hard to be implemented.To solve the above problems, the thesis used the computer visualization technologyand parallel computing technology, combined with the characteristics of the mainstreamsoftware of converted wave velocity analysis, proposed a design scheme of convertedwave interactive velocity analysis software, implemented the process of interactivestack velocity analysis and prestack migration velocity analysis of converted wave. Inthe process of implementation, input policy for seismic data, seismic data imaging,NMO process and converted wave prestack time migration processes has been given aspecial study and optimization. In order to solved the problem of data reading efficiency,strategy called two stage initialization has been used. It using a configuration file andbuffer data to reduce disk accesses. To solve the problem of computer imaging ofseismic data, this thesis used a effective method to visualize the wiggle view and colorview. To improve the computational efficiency of NMO, this thesis used the idea ofspace for time which based on the locality of the velocity variations. To implement efficient interactive prestack time migration analysis process, this thesis used theMPI+PThread programming framework to achieve a multi-level parallel prestackKirchhoff time migration algorithm.The thesis proposed an efficient implement method for converted wave stackingvelocity analysis process and converted wave prestack migration velocity analysisprocess, developed the software with basic converted wave velocity anaylsis ability,paved the way for the widely used of the technique of interaction converted wavevelocity analysis in the domestic.
