Lightning is the very spectacular long distance discharge process at the atmosphere.Because of its strong current lightning, the heat of the high temperature and strongelectromagnetic radiation and violent shock wave, and other physical effect and canproduce a great moment in the destructive lightning disasters. For a long time, lightningdisasters brought serious casualties and economic loss. At the same time, variousindustries for lightning warning the product demand is more and more intense, such aspower, communication, petrochemical, storage, agriculture, tourism and so on.Therefore, completes the forecast for lightning is an urgent need to resolve problems.Using doppler radar secondary products for lightning to forecast, improve the level oflightning near forecast, to reduce the lightning disasters on the effects of human, ensurethe safety of the lives and property of the people, this is important and urgent issue. Thispaper first through the doppler radar secondary products statistics and analysis, choosethe lightning warning to the early warning factor, and summarizes the thunderstormhappen the law of development. Through the application of the radar data based on theradar data introduced lightning near the early warning methods.Firstly,this paper introduces the purpose and significance of the topic, at home andabroad are introduced using Doppler radar data and warning method and research statusat home and abroad, through the use of the Doppler weather radar case analysis showsthe specific application of radar products. Combined with radar and lightning data,analysis of radar CAPPI lightning and the correlation between.
