The key factor in teacher education is how to carry out teaching practical activities. This paper is based on observing teaching practical activities, such as practice, microteaching, probation, teaching skill Competition, of mathematics normal students in Wenzhou University.The main contents are as following:Firstly, the development status of the teaching practical ability of mathematics student. Secondly, the main ways through which the teaching practical ability develop. Thirdly, the positive factors and negative factors in the development of teaching practical ability of excellent normal students.This study found, the development of the teaching practical ability been not as satisfactory, the lack of practical base has become a bottleneck restricting the development of the teaching practical ability; the standardized normal practical course can improve teaching practical ability of normal students successfully, while extracurricular activities such as auxiliary class with little success.The new insights are as follows:Firstly, put forward the concept of "teacher basic personality", which is divided into two kinds:"control" and "smooth", and point out the impact of it on teaching practical ability. Secondly, in order to study the relativity between mathematics professional knowledge and teaching practical ability, the concept of "mathematical understanding migration" proposed. Thirdly, the theory of motivation is used for analyzing the development of the teaching practical ability of excellent mathematics normal students.Because of the characteristics of mathematics itself, the teaching practice between mathematics and general course are different. In the teaching practical activities, efforts should be made to combine theory with practice. The development of teaching practical ability needs joint efforts of schools, teachers, students of the three. The school should increase investment, use limited resources rationally; the teacher should have a good understanding of teaching in primary and middle schools, and do more communication with the normal; the normal should learn to use the strategy of learning oneself and cooperative learning in practice. I hope there will be more research to our normal education from the angle of educational psychology in future.
