The amount of coal mining in China ranks first in the world. With a large amount of coal mining recourses exploited, and some coal mining recourses even exploited indiscriminately by many of the early small coal mines, the irregular goaf areas are apt to cause a large area of ground subsidence, land subsidence, land desertification, deterioration of ecological environment, soil erosion and other disasters; moreover, many more coal mining have exploited multi-layered coal, which has a serious impact on people’s lives and property safety. Therefore, it is urgent to use effective methods to explore the goaf areas of underground coal mining.Based on the coal mining around a Aluminum Smelting company of Yangquan, shanxi province, the study aims to identify the relationship between electrolytic aluminum plant Foundation. Subsidence and mine goaf. The poor geological conditions of the study area and large interference make it necessary to choose proper geophysical exploration methods. Seismic exploration method identifies the subsurface wave impedance interface by the underground elastic medium wave. In theory, There are obvious differences between underground coal mining goaf and the surrounding rock wave impedance. Based on this distinction, it is feasible to make use of three-dimensional seismic method to probe into the mined-out area; the three-dimensional seismic exploration is a gun, indecent laid in the full range of surface area observed a seismic exploration method; it can not only effectively avoid large errors caused by poor terrain conditions and electromagnetic interference, but also provide3D subsurface geological body accurate information of high resolution, high signal-to-noise ratio and high-fidelity. Therefore, it becomes an important and indispensable means of solving complex regional structure and lithologymeans.On the basis of large collections of related literatures, the thesis reviews the applications about the three-dimensional seismic methods and the techniques of interpretation of3D seismic data analysis. It also thoroughly probes into the failure modes, classification and geophysical characteristics of goaf areas; the study analyzes the techiniques of three-dimensional seismic data interpretation of seismic attribute analysis and interprets the classifications, extraction and optimized content of seismic attributes.It overviews the properties of the structure, the variance, the amplitude and the phase as well as inclination properties principle and calculation method.The collection and analysis of3D seismic exploration data provides reliable and necessary basis for the interpretation of the seismic data. Then it analyzes the profile data of the study area measuring line.By taking advantage of the plan view of a variety of attributes parameter and the interpretation of the irregular goaf areas, it delineats the goaf abnormal range. It not only provides an effective basis for the subsequent conduct of the goaf area governance, but also is of great significance to detect the goaf through the use of three-dimensional seismic methods.
