The21st century is the century of the ocean. Countries in the world developintensive the ocean observing technology and focused on the development of themarine environment and resources. In China, the National863Program establishesthe theme of the proposed marine monitoring technology, which greatly promoted thedevelopment of ocean observing technology and ocean observation equipment.However, in the marine observation process, the data observed by the differentobservation platforms and equipment, observation scale data storage mode, and acommunication protocol, they are not the same,therefore, the data between thedifferent observing platforms and equipment is difficult unified view of the generallytakes required by different observation platform systems, storage and read by aspecific handler, read non-intuitive way, increase the cost of data usage put in. Suchdata sharing and interaction of the ocean has caused a lot of difficulties and a seriouswaste of national resources.To solve the above problem, combining with the obtained ocean observingtechnology, this article presents the model of design and implementation of marinein-situ observation oriented client software. The standard model is based on theinformation shared in situ observation data. In-situ observation data plays animportant role in ocean observing process; it is the basis of the marine data sharingand interaction. In the model, by researching and analysis in-situ observations ofmarine, the software is divided into four parts: data acquisition, data processing; dataupload and display, ocean situ observation data including marine meteorologicalenvironmental elements data(including sea surface wind velocity, wind direction, airtemperature, air pressure, humidity, surface wind speed, wind direction, barometricpressure, etc.) and the marine hydrological environment elements data(includingtemperature, salinity, waves and currents, dissolved oxygen, pH value, ORP, relativehumidity, etc.), complete the data transfer between the various parts by Web Service. The core of the model is an ActiveX control, and it has very good scalability, theexternal part is b/s structure to user-friendly query and browses the data required toprovide users with a unified client browser. The model overcomes the problem ofpoor the different observation platform data versatility, combined with existing marinedata integration platform, and summarized the versatility of the algorithm, and makeimprovements and innovation. For the error of the previous platform design, todevelop the common components for collecting in-situ observation data, to implementthe component of cross-platform calls, saving the consumption of secondarydevelopment. This model is of great significance for the efficient development ofmarine in-situ observation oriented client software.Currently, the system has passed the test smooth implementation of the run, towork together with other actual ocean in-situ observing data system and shore basestation server, successful monitoring the actual waters hydrological environment, thecollection of marine situ observation data, data analysis results.The experimental datashows that the model of the ocean in-situ observation oriented the client software iscan be stabilized for marine scientists to provide more accurate real-time ocean data,observational data analysis results as well as historical data shortcut query reports, themodel is largely reduced staff workload and working time.
