The three-dimensional geological model of Mine construction and visualization isfoundation of a mine informatization,it understand geological entity geometry, topologyinformation directly from the three-dimensional space based on the use of computertechnology and visualization technology, serve the mine production and developmentbetter. Boundary representation model has obvious advantages in the expression ofgeological entities topology information, it has a certain practical significance that thethree-dimensional geological modeling of the mine based boundary representation(B-Rep) model,. The main contents of this paper include:(1) this paper process and organize geological data required formodeling, including the drilling data and geological cross-sectional view data, anddefine data organizational forms of drilling table, Inclinometer table, Rock formationsTable and Sampling table according to the geological modeling requirements.(2) This paper analyze the advantages and disadvantages of a variety ofthree-dimensional data model in the modeling of the geological body, focused researchon the entity boundary representation (B-Rep) model, and illustrate advantages on theexpression of relationship of the target object topology. Due to the other data structuresare not well-represented with precise surface boundary entities, half of the data structurehas solved this problem well, it has become a mainstream data structure for boundaryrepresentation.(3) This paper construct Geological Surface based on the Delaunay triangulation(point-by-point insertion algorithm), combined kriging and bilinear interpolationgeological surface construction, and Achieve efficient and fast intersection cutting operation for Geological Surface by the introduction of collision detection technology.(4) This paper achieve the automated docking with Applications of "cut-stitching"algorithm between adjacent geological profile contour, completed the reconstruction ofthe deposits in the three-dimensional geological body. This algorithm has a very goodresults to solve the larger differences when the adjacent sectional shape difference is toolarge and so dose the two cross-section polygon vertices.Based on the content of the above study, this paper realize the building of3Dgeological model and visual expression with the Visual studio2005developmentplatform,by using ObjectARX2008development package and VC++developmentlanguage, combined Donggou molybdenum ore mine examples with AutoCAD2008.
