West Junggar ophiolite mélange widely distributed, showing tectonic melange-like output. Itscomposition is relatively complete, mainly ultramafic rocks, gabbro, basalt and chert, in faultcontact with the rock. Ophiolitic mélange of the restoration of the West Junggar geologicalevolution has a very important significance, But the20th century,60to80years conducted inthis area and larger scale1:200000regional geological surveys on the ophiolite mélange justdelineated mapping out ophiolite mélange Chula scope and boundaries, and no ophioliticmelange on the material composition of a detailed breakdown, nor contact between thevarious components and outputs status information for a reasonable expression construct.Therefore reveal ophiolite mélange causes tectonic emplacement mechanisms in place andprovide a favorable evolution of information. In addition, ophiolitic mélange mapping work,there are some problems, mainly:(1) drawing no real expression ophiolite status of each unitof output, all elements grouped together only "ophiolite" or "ultrabasic rocks" instead;(2)Ophiolite matrix and rock′s mapping mode or scale due to the size of the exact reasons arenot expressed in the drawing, the figure expressed in the form of rock or ultrabasic rock bandin the form of performance, more importantly, there is no reflect the structural information.This article comparing different ophiolitic rock igneous units stratigraphic thickness,make sure ophiolitic melange is in the scale of1:50000and larger draw on precise filling, andis divided into blocks and matrix were filled painted, in the traditional regional geologicalsurvey methods, based on the summed ophiolitic melange mapping work procedures:Finishing former dataâ†'precision remote sensing geological interpretationâ†'Fieldreconnaissanceâ†'field course workâ†'field measured sectionsâ†'indoor data compilationâ†'geological map compilation.
