South Tianshan late Paleozoic sedimentary basins in Kazakhstan-the Junggar plate withthe binding site of the Tarim plate, its development and evolution of the late Paleozoiccrustal evolution characteristics of the east of South Tianshan region. East of South TianshanLate Paleozoic strata, magmatic rocks and structure research, combing different times of thelate Paleozoic sedimentary facies, further restore the deposition environment, revealsedimentary basins vertical and horizontal variation, explore the evolution of sedimentarybasins, and to control the deposition basin evolution and tectonic movement properties.The study area in the stratigraphic divisions belong to the the Tarim-the southernborder formation region, Central South Tianshan-Kitayama formation area in southernTianshan stratigraphic partition. Late Paleozoic strata are widely developed in the southernTianshan area, South Tianshan Sedimentary Geology body. Late Paleozoic strataoutcropping in the study area: the Lower Devonian Arpishmebulag group, the MiddleDevonian Alatag group, the Upper Devonian Pochengzi group and the Lower CarboniferousGancaohu Lake group.The field detailed geological survey to obtain first-hand information, as well as theindoor particle size analysis of lithology and facies analysis, the fossil assemblagecharacteristics that the region under Devonian Arpishmebulag group for shallow-shelfdepositional environment; the middle Devonian Alaska Tage group breaking waves inshallow coastal sedimentary environment; the upper Devonian broken chengzi group littoralshallow marine environment; Lower Carboniferous Gancaohu group for deep-water turbiditedeposits.Upper Devonian the Pochengzi group of volcanic geochemical data processing andanalysis, we have come to Upper Devonian sedimentary the Pochengzi group these strata ofregional tectonic setting should be Andean-type active continental margin environment. Theprevious South Tianshan region, in the early Paleozoic (Ordovician, Silurian), the Tarimplate on the north side of the plate tectonics properties should be passive continental margin.So, the South Tianshan plate tectonics property in Paleozoic early and mid occur severalmajor changes, Kazakhstan plate (Ili-Issyk-Kul plate) the south side of the active continental margin, the time limit should be transformed before the Late Devonian.The survey area ophiolite output lenticular tectonic slices and wrapped its formation infault contact is due to large-scale nappe handling over. Compared with neighboring Kumux-Tonghuashan ophiolite found in the survey area should be there ophiolite with the westwardextension of the ophiolite.In the study area Devonian between the the Pochengzi group and the LowerCarboniferous Gancaohu group for the fault contact between the two stratigraphic units in theregion is not integrated or fault contact, indicating Late Paleozoic South Tianshan oceanicbasin in the Early Devonian-late Devonian is a continuous deposition of relatively calmenvironment, that the South Tianshan ancient ocean basin in an ongoing expansion phase;late Devonian-early Carboniferous passive continental margin environment into activecontinental margin. Widespread in this area during the Upper Devonian and LowerCarboniferous unconformity or fault contact relationship should be a record of the geologicalactivity.
