The Comprehensive Evaluation Model Based On Rough Set Theory

As a new mathematical method，rough set theory is dealing with uncertain, inaccurateand incomplete information. Some fruitful achievements have been made in twenty years ofthorough research. The evaluation model, which is based on rough set theory, is applied tosolve practical problems in recent years. According to rough set theory, this paper putsforward two evaluation models and analyzes their objectivity and rationality with examples.The main work is as follows:(1) The evaluation model about the offensive and defensive abilities of a football team isbuilt to rank the abilities reasonably with the proper order of dominance relations. In theevaluation model the dominance relations are ordered properly. By classifying the footballteam with Matlab cluster and analyzing the data with hierarchical analysis, a new effectivemethod is obtained to evaluate the defensive ability of a football team.(2) The evaluation model about comprehensive qualities of college students is builtbased on D-S evidence theory and the grey fuzzy theory. Considering weight coefficient toevery index, various factors are taken into full account to the evaluation of college students’comprehensive qualities. D-S evidence theory and multi-fuzzy method are used to make theevaluation results more scientific and reasonable.
