Qingliang feng is a famous nature reserves in Zhejiang province which has complicated naturalenvironment and provide excellent habitat for birds. It is rich in species, even the rare species. But theresearch on avian community of Qingliang feng has not been reported yet. So the the avian communitystructure and dynamics change in the tourist area of Qingliangfeng mountain had been surveyed, fromMarch2012to February2013. In this paper the structure of the avian community and diversity in6typical habitats (forest,bush-grass, residential areas, telephone pole, stream-pond and bamboo forest) ofsurvey area was investigated and compared. The results of survey are as follows:1.1935bird individuals and86species were recorded, belonging to10orders and31families. Amongthose species, the national first-class protection animals had1species, the national second-classprotection animals had4species, the species of beneficial, significant economical and scientificinvestigated value had53species and the special protected wild animals in Zhejiang province had11species,the general protected bird in Zhejiang province had66species, the especial endemic wildanimals to China had2species,and there are7species listed in the convention on international tradein endangered species of wild animals.2. Among three geographic fauna, there are49oriental species(55.98%),29palearctic species(33.72%),8eurytopic species(9.30%). So you can see that the oriental had the hightest proportion,26species(58.54%). It’s accordance with local geographical fauna characteristics.3. The average density of avian community was6.25individuals/km2in this tourist area. The greatestdensity was in summer,8.29individuals/km2, and the smallest density was in winter, just4.68individuals/km2.This because that the number of summer residents was three times than winter bird. The resident birds had the highest rate of65.12%, So its dominant species (Vinous-throated Parrotbill,Russet Sparrow, Red-headed Tit,ect.) were resident birds, the all belong to Passeriformes. It provedthat the the avian community has a relative stability in Qingliang feng tourist area.4. Judging by the diversity, the highest diversity and richness coefficient values were showed inDecember(6.67and3.14respectively);The highest level of evenness coefficient value were inAugust(0.90), the lowest was in February (0.79);The highest and lowest dominant coefficient valuewere January(0.18) and December(0.06). It’s showed a higher species diversity and a kind of periodicchanges. 5. The highest diversity and richness coefficient values were showed in forest habitat. The similarityindex between forest habitat and bush-grass was the hightest. And the structure of the aviancommunity and diversity change in6typical habitats were in line with the overall seasonalcharacteristics of this area.Because of the higher rate of forest coverage(96%), and the lower rateof waters, forest birds (98.76%) were largely more than water birds (1.24%).6. Because of various factors, avian diversity was decreasing in tourist area, especially raptor, waterfowl and woodbird which were susceptible to human activity. So it’s need to strengthen theprotection and management in this tourist area, and the relevant departments should strengthen thesupervision and management, to afforestation, publicize protection regulations, improve the livingenvironment of the residential area.
