Background: Ca2+ions play a vital role as second messengers in plant cells duringvarious developmental processes and in response to environmental stimuli. such as aboticstress, light, pathogen and hotmone etc. Adversity is refers to the living conditions of theenvironment,which is deviated significantly the plant optimum. The influence of theadversity is widely involved in various plant physiological and biochemical process, whichseriously affect plant normal growth and even cause death. Rice is one of the mostimportant crop, and also a model plant for making research,so it is susceptible to beinfluenced by all kinds of adversity. Therefore to know the rice how to perception andresistance to environmental stress mechanism is particularly important. Calcineurin B-likeproteins only exist in plant. They with CIPK(CBL-interacting protein kinase, CIPK)formone of the Ca2+signal pathways. Now, there have been research shows that CBL familyplays an essential role in seedlings under environmental stressesAim: Produce antibodies of rice CBL. Uncovered the expression profile of OsCBLsin seedings under environmental stresses, to accumulate data for further research.Materials and Methods: the rice seeds were soaking in37℃for48h.After2days,the germinated seedings were cultured in the artificial climate incubator.The cultureconditions of seedings are28℃,L/D=14/10h。Selecting Nutrient solution for1/2Hogland.Chooseing two weeks seedings for various environmental treatments,and settingnormal growth seedings as control. Epitopes were predicted for candidate gene-encodedproteins and synthesized. Polyclonal antibodies were generated by rabbit immunization.Western blotting analysis was carried out for rice material collected at differentenvironmental stresses.Result: Western blotting analysis was carried out to detect expression profile of10OsCBLs under different material,different environmental stresses,different stages.6proteins were found related with the resistance response, they are OsCBL1、OsCBL2、OsCBL5、OsCBL6、OsCB8and OsCBL10. The rest of the antibodys did not find changes(not listed).Conclusion: Our research uncovered the expression profile of rice OsCBLs underenvironmental stresses,and found that most of the changed OsCBL proteins play positiveroles during resistance response.Among six changed proteins, CBL1, CBL5and CBL6 were down-regulated under cold stress, the expressions of CBL1and CBL2weredown-regulated under hot stress, the expressions of CBL1and CBL5were down-regulatedwhile CBL6, CBL8and CBL10were up-regulated under drought stress. The expressionsof CBL1, CBL5, CBL6, CBL8and CBL10were up-regulated and CBL2wasdown-regulated under submerge stress. The experience can provide helpful information forthe function of CBLs and the molecular mechanism of rice stress tolerance.
