Standardization is important for the future research on sequence stratigraphy. Theframework includes genetic modeling, establishing standardization and application ofindustrialization.The workflow emphasizes defining the genetic type of sedimentationand the bounding surfaces. Sequence stratigraphy of the standardization focuses onoutcrops, cores and data of logging and seismic data combined, standardization haveto focus on identifying genetic type of sequence stratigraphy boundary andsedimentation. Distinguishing professional concept which is independent fromvarious model in the sequence stratigraphy, summaring and concluding the sameconcept in the different model, redefining the same nouns which is an ambiguousmeaning in the different model, suggesting a system of standard terminology iswidely recognized. We start research from the work principle of standardization,standardization of research methods, workflow standardization, Summarizing a set offeasible standardization process as a reference, In this paper, Xujiahe Formation isstudied as the carrier of the standardization of sequence stratigraphy, in this4thchapter we will set Xujiahe Formation of Sichuan basin as a instance to describe howto achieve and reach standardization of sequence stratigraphy.Sichuan basin is one of the most important oil-gas-bearing basin in China and theXujiahe Formation of the Upper Triassic Series in Sichuan Basin is an importantexploration targetlayer. Exploration of Xujiahe Formation oil and gas began in the1940of the20th century, which X2section, and X4section, and X6section is mainexploration targetlayer, has found gas field in the Zhong Dam, and Pingluo Dam, andJiulong Mountain, and zitong, and Daxing West, and New Field, and White horseTemple, and Luodai, and Octagonal Field, and Sui South, and Mill Brook, and FillingWest, and Guangan, and Dragon female Temple, also drill met Zhe dam Field, andWenxing field, and old shut Temple, and Anyue-Tongxian, and Tongnan, a importantcontaining gas constructed, displayed out good of exploration prospects and potential.According to the outcrops,the cores,data of logging,seismic and Standardization sequence stratigraphy theory,the high-precision sequence stratigraphy framework hasbeen established. although the complexity of structure, the different direction of thematerial supply,Rock facies belts change, each partition naming different in the basin,But, Based on the recognition of tracable unconformity and maximum floodingsurface,the Xujiahe Formation is divided into six Third-order sequence cycles andtwenty-one Fourth-order sequence cycles, which can be contrasted in the wholeSichuan Basin. East-west strata distribution was the thick West thin East wedge,Settlement-deposition Centre is located at the front edge depression of theLongmenshan. The thickness of north-south strata is stable, the six Third-order havedeveloped.
