Dachang gold mine is one of the super large gold mines in China and is currently the largestgold mine in Qinghai Province. Dachang gold mine locates in the North Bayan Har Orogenic Belt.It is the tectonic altered rock type gold deposit completely controlled by faulted structure. Itsgenetic type is low temperature hydrothermal type. The regional deep fractures in Gande-Maduodistrict are ore conducting and ore controlling structures. The secondary fractures on both sides areore storage structures.The Bayan Har Changma River group is the main stratum and the mainlithology is slate with sandstone. The Bayan Har Changma River group is the turbidite faciessedimentary rock series formed by flyschoid. Turbidite formation is the main ore bearing strataarea. The wall rock in ore district altered and developed. The main alterations are pyrite,arsenopyrite mineralization, sericitization and silicification.According to the distribution characteristics of elements in the studied area, the geochemicalexploration in the1:20Wan region, stream sediment survey in the1:5Wan region, and theanomalous characteristics of soil measurement in the1:1Wan region, the conclusion can be drawnas follows:The contents of Au, As, Sb in the studied area are significantly high. The gold mine has greatmineralization potential. Regional geochemical anomaly with abundant Au, As, Sb, Hg and otherelements is a direct target region for exploration of gold deposits in this area. The direct marks ofthe prospecting area are large scale, concentration, obvious anomaly of soil with gold gradient. Ifthe measurement of Au content in soil was more than20×10-9, there may be gold orebody in thisarea. If the content is more than100×10-9, the soil anomaly belt may have the industrial orebodies.The studied area of Jiagei Longwafu, Qide Xiranfu, Zhala Yifu and Apeng Eyifu providedthe measurement data of stream sediment in7704field samples. The research guide as criterion issuperimposed halo axial primary halos of gold deposit zoning sequence and prognosis of blind ore.The study is also based on Dachang gold mine front halo, near-ore halo and tail halo indicatorelements. The results show that Dachang gold mine has great ore-prospecting potential; ZhajiaTongna, Geyong Gamakao and Jiagei Longwa also have the potential; Zhala Yilongwa, Shaorie,Zhalayi and Apeng Eyi have limited ore-prospecting potential; Anpang, Panghai, Zhaoda Ebei,Shaori Odong and Zhaoda Enan have little ore-prospecting potential.
