Mineral exploration degree map is a fundamental graph reflectinggeological mineral exploration degree, it is of obvious practical value forsuch fields as comprehensive space analysis on geology andexploration risk assessment and other fields also has obvious. However mineral exploration degree maps produced by traditionalgeological methods have such problems as lacking of quantitativeindicators, superimposed exploration zones, and difficulties indistinguishing exploration area curve trends. In order to carry out quantitative analysis on Mineral explorationdegree map, this paper defines a quantitative parameter, mineraldensity coefficient, which acts as basis of quantitative analysis andcontains exact geological meaning. mineral exploration densitydistribution maps produced according to the calculation of thecoefficients is a basic way to achieve quantitative analysis. In this paper, based on the generation of1:250000mineral densitydistribution map the province’s mineral density distribution map can beproduces through the combination of1:500000and1:1million map.combination of this graph and mineral exploration area distribution map,as well as geographic base map can form the province’s mineralexploration degree map. working on precious metals, The studyproduced Heilongjiang province precious metal mineral exploration degree map, and carried out an attributive analysis and statisticalanalysis, which lead to the delineation of twelve precious metal mineralexploration concentrated zones, which are important precious metalzones. With tremendous practical value, mineral exploration densitydistribution map is a quantitative graph, and can be applied in suchfields as the producing of mineral exploration degree graph,decision-making management in metal exploring, exploring rightmanagement, comprehensive space analysis on geology and mineralresources, and mineral exploration risk analysis, as well as otherrelated fields. This paper studies the mineral density coefficient defined inseveral ways and geological effect of mineral density distributionsmaps generated, in which mineral density distributions maps producedby point definition of mineral density coefficient depend only on the GISplatform, u easy to be promoted,...
