With the rapid development of modern space positioning technology and global navigation and positioning technology, in order to achieve the high-precision conversion between the various types of coordinate system, utilize the existing results and information as their used to, and ensure the surveying and mapping results accurately transferred to the target coordinate system, it has an important theoretical significance and practical value to study how to achieve the transformation between different coordinate systems, and analyze the influencing factors between them.This article first introduces the basic theory of measurement coordinate system, and the basic concept of earth ellipsoid and our common coordinate system, then describes the method of converting different kinds of coordinate system. The core content of the article is the method of solving the transformation parameters. Because the principle of least squares can not effectively resist gross errors and due to the dimensionless problem it often contains morbid equation, this article gives the model of solving transformation parameters which is based on the the principle of robust estimation and the decoupling algorithm which can independent slove the translation, scale and rotation parameters.According to the related theories, the coordinate transformation software which can achieve the interconversion between different forms of coordinate system is designed. The software has a friendly interface, operates simplely, and the accuracy of it can meet the requirements of daily surveying and mapping works.It also provides the database function and setting parameters function which can effectively utilize and save the information we have known.In order to verify the feasibility and accuracy of the software, combined with the example, a test of the system have be carried out. This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the least squares method and the decoupling algorithm by comparing their accuracy under different reference points programs. The paper also studies the impact of the distribution of public points and gross error on solving the coordinate transformation parameters and the applicability and limitations of The robust estimation theory in solving the transformation parameters.
