With rapid development, global positioning system (GPS) technology hasbecome a more and more important part of people’s lives. It makes our liveconvenient, while its assistance on military is particularly great. However, it is alsovery susceptible to interference. So how to enhance the GPS signal and suppressinterference has been an important work for us. Domestic study on GPS interferencesuppression is already underway, while with the wide application of Beidou satellites,interference problems attract more and more people’s attention.In this dissertation, I introduce what is GPS signal, some types of interference,and discuss technical approaches for interference suppression and signal enhancement.Here, I mainly studied the array antenna technology. Through large amounts ofexperiments and research, I found different methods in different environments(depends on noise level and direction), namely Principal Component Analysis, thelinearly constrained minimum variance criteria, and the power minimization method.Meanwhile I made algorithms for these programs. Then through the GPS receiver andsoftware provided by NSL Company, I researched the whole process of GPS signalreceiving, and then extracted GPS signal successfully. Finally, applies the antennaarray technologies to the received GPS signals, as verified by my simulations. |
