Reservoir geological modeling as the basis of reservoir engineering calculation andreservoir simulation has been an important area of the reservoirs in research. In order toeffectively solve the technical problems that exist in the enhanced oil recovery in M blocks, sowe need to establish a more refined geological model for the study area. This paper compares the multi-point geostatistics modeling method with the traditionalmodeling methods finding, the traditional two-point geostatistics in reservoir modeling mainlybased on the variogram to reflect the correlation only between two points in the space but it beless sophisticated simulate the reservoir which having a complex spatial structure. Themulti-point geostatistics focus on delivering the correlation between the multi-point and it canreproduce the geometry of the geological body better and more sophisticated. In the process ofmulti-point geostatistics modeling we can integrate data in different resolution and differentspatial scales, with well logging, seismic and other geological data, so the uncertainty of themodeling results can be reduced effectively. Therefore,it will make up for the deficiencies ofthe traditional methods of geostatistics. In this thesis, based on the research of reservoir multi-point geostatistics modeling, applying multi-point geostatistics algorithms established the geological model of study area. The main contents are the following:1. To Use well lamination data as the control point, with boundary of work area asconstraint, based on Kriging interpolation method to establish the layer structure model of thestudy area.2. Based on logging data, seismic data, and geological understanding of the study area ofthe establish the training images; Creating a probability generation curve of sand body and usesandbody probability generating curve extracted the sedimentary microfacies space probabilitydistribution from the seismic inversion data volume, analyzing and to determining a morereasonable search template and well seismic impact proportion;using multi-pointgeostatistical modeling methods establish sedimentary facies model.3. To take phased modeling method to establish the permeability and porosity ofgeological model with full parameters.4. To use single well sedimentary microfacies roughening inspection, consistency of the probability distribution test and wide spaced wells test three methods, to test the geologicalmodel of the study area. The study results showed that the application of multi-point geostatistics in thesedimentary microfacies simulation, it was both faithful to the Original data, and also canreproduce the geometry of geological bodies very well. Seismic data and log data can becombined in the multi-point geostatistics modeling process, to reduce the uncertainty in thestochastic modeling results. Using the multi-point geostatistics methods will establish thegeological model with a high reliability.
