XX area is a important development block to enhance resource in No.3Oil ProdctionCompany,Changqing oilifeld.Since it received animportant breakthrough in Chang8andChang9formation because of LI and H39well areas,it have discovered continuouslyproducing wells of high quality in Chang7reservoirs.The author does systematical anddetailed research on Chang7.The author has deeply studied reservoir characteristics and oil forming rules ofChang7,according to the theory of sedimentology, geology of petroleum, core data, thin sectionanalysis and SEM.The study area Chang7isdivided into Chang7\,Chang I2and Chang73,theSediment soucre direction for SE and NE.It belongs tomiddle fan intrafacies.Hackberry faciesdepositional environment. The sedimentary microfacies are turbidite channel, front andinterturbidite.Rock type is chiefly arcose and feldspathic lithic fine sandstone, ordinary degreeof roundness, better sorting.Pore type is mostly intergranular porosity.Equally, porosity is8.79%and2permeability is0,224^10"3|im. Accroding to"relationship among the fourcharactersVesearch, author has done second explanation for logging data after establishing aset of interpretation models and the floor level of reservoir parameter. And then researched onthe distirbution of sand body and physical properties deeply.Based on the foundation of sedimentary facies, distribution of sand body and reservoirphysical properties, evaluated the classiifcation of reservoir and rentiated the favorablereservoir area, then combined with the data of formation testing, selected the most favorableexploration areas in Chang7oil reservoir group, xx area.
