Chaos is a kind of aperiodic motion caused by deterministic nonlinear system, which sensitively depends on the initial conditions of the system. Due to the broad prospects in the application of system control and secure communication, chaos have been widely recognized and thoroughly researched. The security performance of the chaotic secure communication system is closely linked with the topology of chaos attractor, so construction of the complex chaotic systems becomes the hot topic of the research, mainly include the research of hyper chaotic systemsn multi-scroll chaotic systems and multi-wing chaotic systems. Based on the international and domestic related research, this paper studied carefully about the design of multi-wing chaotic systems and the circuit implementation of them. The main works and contributions are concluded as following:1. First of all, a new double-wing autonomous chaotic system is proposed, by analyzing the phase diagram of attractors、Lyapunov exponent spectrum、bifurcation figure、domain waveforms、power spectrum and equilibrium points, we validated that this non-linear dynamic system is indeed a new chaotic system in a fixed parameter rang. Secondly, according to the modeling criterion of the multi-wing chaotic systems construction, two kind of nonlinear functions were introduced to the new double-wing chaotic system, which function together made the equilibrium points could expand in the plane based on the original two, so the chaotic attractor cloud evolve into grid multi-wing shape. And lastly, according to the design steps of chaotic systems, an oscillator circuit is designed for the implementation of this grid multi-wing chaotic system, by flexible controlling the switches we can get simulation results of various multi-wing chaotic attractors. The circuit simulation results are in good agreement with the numerical simulation results, which show the validity and feasibility of the construction of multi-wing chaotic system.2. A new method for transforming Lii system into a grid multi-wing chaotic system is proposed. By comparing the dimensionless functions of Lii system and the new double-wing system, we can see there is distinguish between these two systems in system expression, so we should design some suitable nonlinear functions in the light of the unique features of Lii system. We introduced three kind of nonlinear to the Lii system, by means of adjusting and choosing suitable system parameters the equilibrium points could expand in the plane, then the chaotic attractor cloud evolve into grid multi-wing shape. At last, we designed an oscillator circuit for the implementation of this grid multi-wing chaotic system, circuit simulation results conformed the feasibility of this construction method.
